ApacheCon Europe 2012 5–8 November 2012 Rhein-Neckar-Arena, Sinsheim, Germany

Così come per la conferenza annuale di Libre Office (the Document Foundation), anche per Apache Open Office è stata scelta la Germania come Nazione ospitante.

ApacheCon 2012 viene definita dallo stesso sito italiano della suite di Open Office un incontro informale, pensato, non per stabilire regole o disciplinari di certificazione, ma per chi vuole avvicinarsi al mondo Apache, alla community degli sviluppatori.
Cito dal sito: ” After an absence of several years, the Apache Software Foundation is pleased to announce that ApacheCon is returning to Europe in 2012! ApacheCon Europe 2012 will be held between the 5th and 8th of November, at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena in Sinsheim, Germany. The name ApacheCon has been chosen to indicate that this conference is of a less formal nature, and unlike other ApacheCons you may have attended is focused more on the Apache developer community. This is an ideal conference for you if you are interested in becoming a developer on an Apache project, or already are one.”

Veramente notevole e suggestiva la scelta della location. la Rhein-Neckar-Arena, nel Baden-Wü rttemberg, in Germania.
